As you should be well aware, we are expecting our 6th child very soon. To make it more interesting we are starting a contest for all of our friends and family to guess the gender of the baby and the birth weight. If you want to enter the contest then leave your name, email, guess on gender and guess on birth weight in a comment to this post.
P.S. Ruth is currently scheduled for an induction on August 11 (one week before her due date). You may want to consider this in determining your birth weight guess.

Although I really think it would be cool for David to have a baby brother, it appears that this will be a baby sister. My guess is that she will weight 8 lbs 9 oz.
I agree with Mom (aka Bammy). Although David might really enjoy and benefit from a brother, I think it will be a girl, weighing in at 8 lbs. 8 oz.
